MAJ3R: "It was important to save some energy [in the group stage]"-cheapest knife case cs2

We conducted a short interview with Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli after his team secured a spot in the grand final of the WESG 2017 World Finals, defeating Russia.

After placing top four in last year's edition of WESG, Space Soldiers have, at least, one-upped their result this year by making the grand final, where they will face fnatic tomorrow.

To get there, the Turkish side had to take out GODSENT and Russia in the playoffs today, and did that with 2-0 victories in both series.

In the group stage you played mostly underdogs and won almost all of the matches, but you weren't really dominant in the games. Can you tell me how you felt after the first two group stages and the matches you had?
We had a group that was very good for us, there were three underdog teams. But with the system, three BO2's, we knew it was going to be a long day, so the goal was to play seriously, but not give full energy on every match, to keep some energy. That's why sometimes the match was close, we of course gave everything we have to win, but it was important to save some energy for the next match.
We tried to apply the new rules we have about communication, to have it go more slowly, without stress, have it go easily. Because we were in the booths in the practice area, so it was easier. Like I said, when we saw the group, the goal was to be first, for sure, we did it and it's ok.
Coming into the playoffs, playing GODSENT this morning, did you then up the tempo, was there more pressure, more vigor?
Yeah, GODSENT is a good team, so we needed to start well. Unfortunately, we started very badly, on Mirage it was I think 5-0 or 6-0 for them, they beat us so hard that in six rounds I think we didn't get one kill, it was very hardcore.
After that we talked, tried to find some solution. "Guys, step-by-step, win some rounds on T and we will win on CT, we trust our CT". We won some clutches, the score was very close, we also got luck on our side, so today everything is good and on our side.
You continue your Cache streak, you are unbeaten for about 20 maps on LAN. Does that feel particularly well, especially with people still playing Cache against you?
I think we have two very strong maps, Cobble and Cache, so people try to chose between them. Some teams, like GODSENT, don't believe in their Cobble, they believe more in Cache so they banned Cobble. I think we have few strong maps, but in BO3's when we can only ban one map, we have some gaps, like today when we played Nuke. We train on Nuke a lot, but on LAN it's always different.
Now you won against Russia, you are in the grand final and $300,000 is the minimum that you can win, how does that feel?
It feels good. Well, we don't play for the money, of course, we need to do our job here. We came here as a team and there are a lot of mixes. fnatic is a team like us, so I think it will be a great final.
The objective is to win and after you did your job, the money will come. Doing your job is first, we don't think about the money, but of course, it is a good thing for us financially.
